Monisha Kapila, Founder and Co-CEO, ProInspire
Monisha Kapila founded ProInspire to advance leadership and equity in the social sector. She has led the organization to transform and expand its work advancing racial equity and leadership development. Monisha previously worked for multiple nonprofit and for-profit organizations, including Accion International, Capital One,
CARE, and Arthur Andersen. Monisha has an MBA from Harvard Business School, where she received the Dean’s Award, a BBA from the University of Michigan, and received her Certificate in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University. Monisha is Board Vice Chair for the National Human Services Assembly and an Advisor to Fund the People. She has written extensively about equity and inclusion, leadership, and careers in the nonprofit sector. Monisha has been recognized as Chronicle of Philanthropy’s 40 Under 40, HBS Leadership Fellow, American Express NGen Fellow, and America's Leaders of Change.
